Leigh Kullas comes to the firm from another helping profession: Veterinary Technician. She has jumped into the real estate field with enthusiasm. Born and raised in southeast Denver, she knows this part of town very well. She brings an organized nature and a can-do attitude to every project she takes on. She brings great skills in technology and social media to her marketing listings as well as helping buyers locate the perfect home. As for her commitment to clients, she says “I will work to make your home buying or selling process as simple as possible. I understand first-hand how challenging it can be and will be there to support you through the entire transaction.” We are proud to have Leigh as a broker on our team.

Nancy is President and Managing Broker of Heather Gardens Brokers. A Licensed Broker since 1986, she obtained an advanced Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) educational designation in 1995; and became Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) in 2006 – a designation held by only about 2% of brokers nationwide. Before entering real estate, she had 10 years of experience in the fine art business in Colorado, including time as owner/operator of an art gallery in the mountains; and worked with preschool students and the Breckenridge Ski School. Nancy graduated Jones Real Estate College in 1987, and is responsible for hundreds of homes sold as a Broker or Broker Associate since that time.

What Nancy realized about the real estate business is that it presents a unique opportunity to assist clients in designing a wonderful new lifestyle in Heather Gardens: “Most people are transitioning in some way, either from work into retirement or leaving a home of many years. Many are experiencing losses of a spouse or health issues. So, the move to HG represents the next chapter. My commitment is to creatively design this next chapter and assure a smooth transition, integrating into an active adult community with endless possibilities.”

Bruce is a Broker Associate and Vice President of Heather Gardens Brokers. He has been a Licensed Broker and been involved in Heather Gardens since 1990; and obtained a Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation in 1995 followed by a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation – held by only about 2% of brokers nationwide – in 2006. Before entering real estate, he earned a Marketing and Management degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Bruce’s restaurant and hospitality experience includes two Colorado restaurants and serving as owner/operator of a Bed & Breakfast in Belize. He also has experience in records management and space planning in medical and governmental filing, office and archival microfilm systems.

A balance of livelihood and life is very important to Bruce: “When we are not enjoying the practice of real estate, we spend time at our family cabin in the mountains of Park County near Bailey. We enjoy traveling inside and outside of the U.S. with each other and with friends and family when time allows. As a family-owned company, we consider that our work in real estate provides a valuable service to our clients, both buyers and sellers. Over the years, we have worked hard to develop a reputation as a dependable, personal and reliable company.”

As a second-generation real estate agent, Misty prides herself in proven customer service skills. Misty has over 15 years of management experience in addition to working as a home stager for residential properties. She utilizes that knowledge and skill to help her clients present their homes in the best light for optimal returns. She also enjoys working with buyers and strives to keep them informed throughout the whole process. Misty goes above and beyond and nurtures her relationships with her clients well beyond the closing table. “I feel as though the skills that I have learned and built upon over my lifetime have all come to a head for me to be the best agent for my clients. I am truly honored to be a part of the intimate experience of buying and selling on behalf of my clients, they’ve become more like family in the end!”

Djuana DuBois is a Broker Associate with Heather Gardens Brokers, bringing a strong background in real estate, management, and client-focused transaction support. She holds an AAS in General Management with an emphasis in Human Resources, Labor Relations, and Property Management, providing a solid foundation in negotiation, communication, and organizational strategy. Specializing in residential sales within the Heather Gardens community and surrounding areas, Djuana is known for her consultative approach and attention to detail. She guides buyers and sellers through informed, efficient, and well-managed transactions, ensuring clarity and confidence at every stage of the process. Her areas of focus are residential sales and listings, Heather Gardens community expertise, and transaction management and client support.

Natalie is a Pittsburgh native who earned a Bachelor of Science at Point Park University and began her career in Human Resources in South Carolina. She discovered a passion for property management, where she spent years ensuring smooth operations and exceptional resident experiences. In 2016, she moved to Colorado and continued her journey in the leasing world, building a deep understanding of market dynamics and asset performance. In 2025, she transitioned to real estate, combining her HR insight, leasing expertise, and operational know how to create value for clients and communities alike.
